Nelson Cabrera is an internationally acclaimed film director and storyteller, whose work has earned him 10 Cannes Lions at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and 3 Emmy Awards. Over the course of his career, Nelson has garnered more than 70 national and international accolades for his outstanding contributions to the art of filmmaking.

Before stepping into the director's chair, Nelson honed his craft as an assistant director for over 20 years, working alongside legendary filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Francis Ford Coppola, among many other Hollywood icons. These formative years shaped his expertise and set the stage for his success as a director.

Beyond the world of film, Nelson is a passionate nature photographer and painter. He operates his own art studio in the picturesque landscapes of Western North Carolina, where his artistic endeavors continue to thrive.

A proud member of the Directors Guild of America since 1986, Nelson also founded and ran Cherry Sundae Media, a successful production company, for more than 15 years. His diverse creative ventures and groundbreaking achievements have cemented his legacy as a visionary artist and filmmaker.

His work has appeared in National Geographic, EcoWatch, The Independent, New York Times, Huffpost and Fast Company. His expertise has also led him to speak at prestigious platforms like the World Bank.

                     Nelson has directed over 300 campaigns for national and international brands.
